Rhapsody iFix releases

Postby Fred » March 9th, 2017, 12:08 pm

IBM provides iFix releases (iFix = interim fix) which are official bug fix releases with its own build number (Help > About Rhapsody).
Please do not mix up with TestFix patches which are shipped to single customers only on request.

iFixes are provided 2- or 3-monthly beginning with Rhapsody version 8.1
The general download page is IBM FixCentral
https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/swg/

I will start in this forum notify you about new iFix releases.

The latest fixes are:

Rhapsody 8.1.5 iFix3
https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcent ... ethod=http

Rhapsody 8.2 iFix2
https://www-945.ibm.com/support/fixcent ... ethod=http

All fixed APARs are listed in the readme.html file.

There are 2 ways of installation:
- the zip file without "archived" string contains a .msi or .exe installer
- the zip file with "archived" string contains all files for manual installation (if you need to backup your previous installation or you have special Windows access rights which conflict with a regular installation).

Unless otherwise stated an iFix contains all fixes of the previous release.
Please always study the readme file.

For any other questions please contact your Willert support team or IBM support.
